Zero-G (Zero-G Inc.) is a Japanese animation studio based in Suginami, Tokyo, Japan. Since 2013, the studio has been a subsidiary of NOIX and affiliated with Negishi’s Saber Project (formerly AIC Project). Hiroshi Negishi, co-creator of series such as Saber Marionette and director for Tekkaman Blade and several entries of the Tenchi Muyo! franchise, established Zero-G Inc. in June 2011 – as the spiritual successor that inherited the past skills and knowledge of Negishi’s former studio Zero-G Room, established in 1991 but was later merged into RADIX, founded in 1995 by Negishi for copyright management, to form the now-defunct RADIX, Ltd. (later Radix Ace Entertainment) in 2001. In September of the following year, the studio acquired all of the anime-related copyrights held by Radix Mobanimation. In late 2015, former members from AIC PLUS+ transferred to the studio with Sakikawa Yukiya – animation producer for GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class, Cat Planet Cuties, The Everyday Tales of a Cat God, Place to Place, and Date A Live – assuming the position of representative director in June 2015.
